  I met my wife some thirty years ago dancing. After getting married and raising two children we found ourselves empty nesters. About 8 years ago I found a holiday deal for dance lessons and had purchased a trial session to be a stocking stuffer as a surprise for her. I was surprised how happy she was, we went weekly for a few years and then COVID hit and stopped us cold. A few months ago we decided to pick up our sessions and found Fred Astaire Dance Studio. We knew we were in the right place after the first lesson. Since then we have had sessions with three different instructors, Lindsey, Kyle, and Lawrence. Beside couples lessons, we have joined a group class. They also have special events. Each instructor, has been invaluable in helping us understand nuances using their unique style. Honestly we love going a few times a week. So happy to be part of it. If you are looking for the right place, we think you found it. We Highly recommend this place. See you there!

  I’ve been with Fred Astaire Studios in Colorado Springs since January 2023. Lawrence and Lyndsy Aguirre, the co-owners of the studio, have been fantastic as both instructors and mentors of dance. When I started, I could barely imitate a high school freshman at his first school dance. Since then, I’ve learned a great deal about many dance styles and gained confidence in my ability to learn more complex dance steps. Lyndsy is always been a bright light for me, encouraging, patient, and professional. She has a wonderful ability to make learning the dance steps understandable, then through constant practice, repeatable. I couldn’t ask for a better instructor. The team of instructors at the studio are top-notch. They mirror the professionalism and commitment to dance instruction so ably demonstrated by Lawrence and Lyndsy. And the atmosphere when you walk through the front door is welcoming and warm, where the enthusiasm and joy of dancing is palpable. I would highly recommend this Fred Astaire Studio to anyone who truly wishes to learn how to dance and dance well.

  A bunch of rockstars dance and instruct here!! Seriously! Best of Colorado everything. Fun, friendly, great atmosphere, great instructors!

  Lindsay is the very best instructor my wife and I have ever had. The studio is great, the instruction is top notch and I am learning how to really lead!! So glad we chose Fred Astaire!
